As a Health Sciences Graduate Fellow, you’ll gain real-world experience and build your professional network through tailored roles that align with your career goals – while also completing your M.S. in Exercise and Sport Science or Health Promotion and Management in just one year and saving 50-100% on tuition! Whether it’s supporting Merrimack’s Athletics Department, designing and implementing health education, wellness programming and community-based projects for partner organizations, or designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams or facilities, you’ll be developing applied skills in meaningful ways.

Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3.0 undergraduate GPA preferred (lower GPAs will be considered, be have additional application requirements for evaluation)
- Must be authorized to work 25 hours/week in the United States
- Fellowships are in-person roles located either on Merrimack’s campus in North Andover, MA, or surrounding communities
- Additional Requirements for M.S. in Exercise and Sport Science:
All applicants must have completed the required prerequisite courses in Anatomy and Physiology I & II (with laboratories) and Exercise Physiology before beginning the Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Science.
The master’s program is intended for students who hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a health-related field such as public health; health education/health promotion; exercise science/kinesiology; human performance; human nutrition; biomechanics; or closely related field.
Additional Requirements for M.S. in Health Promotion and Management: The M.S. in Health Promotion and Management requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a health-related field such as public health, health education/health promotion, exercise science/kinesiology, human performance, human nutrition, biomechanics or a closely related field.
