Sponsored by the Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship
The Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship provides full-time six to nine-month paid fellowships for recent college and graduate school alumni to work on international peace and security issues with one of more than two dozen participating public-interest organizations in Washington, DC.
Scoville Fellows have the opportunity to work with senior-level staff and conduct research, write articles and reports, organize talks and conferences sponsored by their host organization, and directly support public education and advocacy initiatives. Fellows may explore a range of issues that fall under the scope of the organization’s mission including nuclear, biological, and chemical arms control and nonproliferation; conflict resolution and peacebuilding: conventional arms trade; environmental security; defense budget; diplomacy; emerging technology threats; and global health security.
