Sep 24, 2013

Stanford University’s Haas Center for Public Service sponsored a special Esteemed Fellows Dinner on September 19th, providing aspiring fellows from the Stanford community the opportunity to meet and network with fellowship alumni from the San Francisco Bay Area. Special guests included fellowship alumni representing the Robert Bosch Foundation, the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals, Capital Fellows, Fulbright, Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, Young People For, New York City Urban Fellows, City Hall Fellows, Rotary International, Coro Fellows, New Sector Alliance, and Dalai Lama Fellows, among others.

Jim Murray, Director of Postgraduate Public Service at the Haas Center, also provided aspiring fellows an overview of the exceptional fellowship opportunities available to Stanford students, including the Stanford Public Interest Network (SPIN) Fellowship, a 12-month paid position with an organization working in the public interest.
