- Research Grants in Germany: Research Grants in Germany offer the opportunity to realize a research project in Germany. The program supports research stays during a doctorate or early postdoc phase. You can apply if you are doing your doctorate at a university or research institution outside Germany or have already completed your doctorate (post-doc, up to 4 years after completing your doctorate). Funding is provided for doctoral students: 2 to 12 months, and postdocs: 2 to 6 months. / Apply by April 30, 2025
- New York State Senate Graduate Fellowships: Albany, NY. While duties vary, Fellows generally perform in-depth policy research and participate in meetings with constituents and interest advocacy organizations. There are four fellowship tracks, including the New York State Senate Legislative Fellowship, the Richard J. Roth Journalism Fellowship, the Richard A. Wiebe Public Service Fellowship, and the James L. Biggane Fellowship in Finance. Applicants for the Fellowship must have completed all of their graduate work before starting the program in September or have recently graduated with a graduate-level degree. Fellowships are not financial aid for academic work, on-campus, or classroom study. Applications from a wide range of interests and disciplines are welcome and encouraged. - Dismas Family Farm Fellowship: Dismas House of Massachusetts, Inc., seeks a fellow for the Dismas Family Farm, a 12-bed, vocational farm for recently released prisoners. The fellowship is a unique, fully-funded, one-year, post-baccalaureate, service opportunity. The Fellow lives in solidarity with the residents of the Dismas Family Farm and helps coordinate daily activities at the farm. Fellows have a commitment to issues of social justice, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and are comfortable working with individuals from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. - Kirchner Food Fellowship: The purpose of the Kirchner Fellowship program is to foster the development of individuals who have the practical skills and knowledge to make effective investments in emerging agricultural technologies that have the possibility of addressing global food security in underserved regions and communities. The principal part of the Kirchner Fellowship will be undertaken over an academic year but Fellows will be expected to have a continuing commitment and interest in the investment portfolio, to their cohort of Fellows and subsequent cohorts of Fellows. Candidates must be enrolled in a college or university in the United States, Canada, Mexico, or Central America. / Apply by April 30, 2025
- The Coelho Center Law Fellowship: The Coelho Center Law Fellowship Program targets early-year college students with disabilities to intervene and provide encouragement, support, and mentorship that is crucial to success. In particular, they believe in creating a strong pipeline of law students with disabilities who will go on to serve as attorneys, judges, public policy professionals, and politicians. Their ultimate goal is to increase representation in policy spaces where decisions are being made. Students will attend a two-week summer intensive course held virtually and an academic year-long virtual course. There is a $1,000 stipend upon completion of the program. / Apply by April 30, 2025
- University of Toronto Fully Funded PhD in Nursing: The University of Toronto, Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing is based in Canada and offers a fully funded PhD in Nursing. The Nursing PhD degree is designed to prepare scientists and scholars with the analytical and research skills required to expand their knowledge of clinical, theoretical, and health systems issues. PhD students must enroll on a full-time basis. PhD students normally aim to complete the degree in four years of full-time study. The base funding package normally consists of 3 elements: Tuition fee, Award, and Teaching Assistantship. - Biointerfaces Institute Innovation Fellowship: The Biointerfaces Institute BI Innovation Fellowship is a full-time position for up to two years at a competitive $60,000 salary with full benefits. The program offers a unique opportunity for Fellows to be embedded within the BI research and translational ecosystem to explore research commercialization. Applicants must be recent Ph.D. or professional degree graduates or junior postdoctoral trainees in engineering, life sciences, physical sciences, or a related field. - Teach For America Ignite Fellowship: Ignite Fellowship is a national tutoring corps designed to accelerate learning and foster belonging with students. The Fellowship program recruits and develops leaders to partner with schools nationwide to help students overcome the systemic barriers to an excellent education. Ignite Fellows leads small group virtual learning with the support of a veteran educator and works approximately 3 – 5 hours per week during regular K-12 school hours. - German Studies Research Grant: This specialized DAAD program offers up to ten German Studies Research Grants to highly qualified undergraduate and graduate students who are nominated by their department/program chairs. The grant may be used for short-term research (1-2 months) in either Germany or North America. The program is designed to encourage research and promote the study of cultural, political, historical, economic, and social aspects of modern and contemporary German affairs from an inter- and multidisciplinary perspective. / Apply by May 1, 2025
- Leo Baeck Institute – DAAD Fellowship: The Leo Baeck Institute is a research, study, and lecture center whose library and archives offer comprehensive documentation for the study of the history and culture of German-speaking Jewry. Fellowships are awarded for research in New York or Germany on the social, communal, and intellectual history of German-speaking Jewry. Financial assistance is provided to doctoral students for dissertation research and to young academics for the preparation of a scholarly essay or book. / Apply by May 1, 2025
- Winston Churchill Fellowships for Australian Citizens: Churchill Fellowships will be awarded to pursue a 4-8 week overseas investigative project of a kind that is not readily available in Australia. It also aims to reward the proven achievement of talented and deserving Australians with further opportunities in their pursuit of excellence to enrich Australian society. No prescribed qualifications are required to apply for a Churchill Fellowship. Applicants must be Australian Citizens and age 18 or older. - Carman International Fellowship at Mosaic: The Carmen International Fellowship by Mosaic offers a unique opportunity to work with local partners in Moshi, Tanzania. Fellows support children and young adults with intellectual disabilities through healthcare, education, and economic development initiatives. Successful applicants can commit to living and working in a developing country or emerging democracy for one year. - Byron Hanke Fellowship: The Foundation for Community Association Research (FCAR) awards its Byron Hanke Fellowship to selected graduate students to implement research projects related to the development, management, and governance of common interest communities and their community associations. Applicants must be enrolled, at the time of application and through the research period, in a graduate-level program (master, doctoral, legal) at an accredited higher education institution in the United States or Canada. The Hanke Fellowship stipends range from $3,000-$5,000 over one year, or as determined by the Foundation. / Apply by May 1, 2025
- Western University Fully Funded PhD in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering: Western University in Ontario, Canada offers a fully funded Ph.D. Program in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering. The Ph.D. is a 4-year research program working closely with an advisor. There are several fields of research to focus on including biomaterials and biochemical, environmental and green, macromolecular and materials, particle technology and fluidization, and reaction and process systems. Funding comes from various scholarships, fellowships, studentships, and grants. Minimum aid for Ph.D. students includes a full tuition waiver and a stipend of CAD 17,000 per year. - Institute of Coaching Graduate Student Fellowships: Harvard University, Institute of Coaching is offering graduate student fellowships for Masters and Doctoral candidates seeking support for coaching dissertation research. Accepted applicants will plan to advance the science, profession, and practice of coaching, employing quantitative, qualitative, or mixed research methods. Eligible applicants must demonstrate competence in conducting and completing research as graduate students. Awards are up to $10,000 for each fellow. - Pisacano Scholars Leadership Program: The Pisacano Scholars Leadership Program provides educational programs, leadership training, and funding for four years beginning in the final year of medical school and through three years of residency training in Family Medicine. Upon selection, each Pisacano scholar will receive an annual scholarship of $5,000 during their final year of medical school and their first three years of Family Medicine training (four years total, regardless of residency length). - AHRQ Grants for Health Services Research Dissertation Program: The AHRQ Grants for Health Services Research Dissertation Program (R36) provides dissertation grants for doctoral candidates. This program supports dissertation research that addresses AHRQ’s mission and priorities and welcomes any areas of health services research as dissertation project topics. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and full-time academic students in good standing, who are enrolled in an accredited research doctoral program in such fields as behavioral sciences, health services research, nursing, social sciences, epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy, health informatics, engineering, and mathematics. The award project is for a 9-17 month period and includes an award budget of up to $15,000 in direct costs and a stipend. / Apply by May 1, 2025
