  • Hollyhock Humanities Fellowship: The Hollyhock Humanities Fellowship is a year-long learning adventure for experienced NYC-area high school social studies teachers to help them re-ignite their passion for history, reinvigorate their love for teaching, and connect with a community of similarly motivated colleagues. Through a summer seminar, several intersessions, and supportive coaching throughout the year, they will learn how to build rigor, equity – and joy! – into every history lesson. Participants will be expected to attend programming at the Relay office at 25 Broadway in Manhattan and be available for visits from a coach throughout the year. A stipend of $ 3,000 will be disbursed throughout the Fellowship. / Apply by April 7, 2025

 

  • NEA Foundation Global Learning Fellowship: The NEA Foundation Global Learning Fellowship offers educators 12 months of professional development opportunities to support educators as they cultivate global competence skills and build global lesson plans that are shared with educators around the world. Over one year, Fellows participate in online coursework, a fall professional development workshop, and a 9-day summer field study excursion. The NEA Foundation covers all costs for meals, lodging, travel, and professional development activities. Active NEA members who are current K-12 classroom teachers and have at least 3 years of teaching experience are eligible. / Apply by April 7, 2025

 

  • Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Individual Predoctoral Fellowship: The purpose of the Kirschstein-NRSA predoctoral fellowship (F31) award is to enable promising predoctoral students to obtain individualized, mentored research training from outstanding faculty sponsors while conducting dissertation research in scientific health-related fields relevant to the missions of the participating NIH Institutes and Centers. Applicants for the F31 must be candidates for the PhD degree and have identified a dissertation research project and sponsor(s). The fellowship may provide up to five years (typically 2-3 years) of support for research training which leads to the PhD or equivalent research degree, the combined MD/PhD degree, or another formally combined professional degree and research doctoral degree in the biomedical, behavioral, or clinical sciences. / Apply by April 8, 2025

 

  • Wellcome Trust Discovery Awards: The scheme of discovery awards provides funding for established researchers and teams from any discipline who want to pursue bold and creative research ideas to deliver significant shifts in understanding that could improve human life, health, and well-being. The research can be in a single discipline or multidisciplinary. The host organization of the lead applicant should be based in the UK, the Republic of Ireland, or low- or middle-income countries (apart from India and mainland China). A Wellcome Discovery Award provides funding for research expenses. The award usually lasts for 8 years. / apply by April 8, 2025

 

  • Awards for Faculty at Historically Black Colleges and Universities: The Awards for Faculty program strengthens the humanities at Historically Black Colleges and Universities by encouraging and expanding humanities research opportunities for individual faculty and staff members. Awards support individuals pursuing scholarly research that is of value to humanities scholars, students, and/or general audiences. The program welcomes proposals in all areas of the humanities, regardless of geographic or chronological focus. This program offers applicants flexibility in project outcomes and award periods. Projects must be based on humanities research. Projects may be at any stage of development. Maximum award amount $5,000 per month. / Apply by April 9, 2025

 

  • National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship: Fellowships support individuals pursuing advanced research that is of value to humanities scholars, general audiences, or both. Recipients usually produce articles, monographs, books, digital materials, archaeological site reports, translations, editions, or other scholarly resources in the humanities. Projects may be at any stage of development. Fellowships cover periods lasting from six to twelve months at a stipend of $5,000 per month. The maximum stipend is $60,000 for twelve months. / Apply by April 9, 2025

 

  • Center for Health Journalism National Fellowship: The annual National Fellowship is open to professional journalists who work for or contribute to print, broadcast, and online media outlets throughout the United States, including freelancers. Applicants should have a demonstrated interest in health, social welfare, or child and family issues, broadly defined to include the health of communities. The National Fellowship annually offers five days of informative and stimulating discussions, plus reporting grants of $2,000-$10,000, engagement grants of up to $2,000, and six months of expert mentoring as Fellows work on ambitious explanatory or investigative projects. / Apply by April 9, 2025

 

  • Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity: The Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity program is a part-time 1-year fellowship designed to bring together the many diverse industries and professions that influence health and well-being including, but not limited to art, law, business, academia, government, journalism, social enterprise, research, media, housing, and health care delivery. Through a mix of in-person convenings and a virtual curriculum, the fellowship provides mentorship to build health equity leadership skills with a focus on creating real change in fellows’ communities. This non-residential fellowship is open to early to mid-career professionals from anywhere in the world doing work related to health and is based at George Washington University. All educational experiences and travel expenses related are covered.  / Apply by April 10, 2025

 

  • RSE Personal Research Fellowships: RSE Personal Research Fellowships allow eligible applicants to take up to twelve months to focus on a research project of their choice. The award provides funding for the appointment of a temporary replacement to enable the awardee to take research leave, either in their own institution or elsewhere, while remaining in continuous employment with their present employer. In addition to funding the salary, this grant funds research costs for the awardee. Fellowships are open to early and mid-career researchers. Applicants must be existing members of academic staff on open-ended or continuing contracts in a Higher Education Institution (HEI), Research Institution (RI), or Cultural Institution (CI) in Scotland. / Apply by April 10, 2025

 

  • Sainsbury Management Fellowship: The Sainsbury Management Fellowship (SMF) scheme, funded by the Gatsby Charitable Foundation, is the MBA scholarship scheme of the Engineers in Business Fellowship. The scheme enables engineers of high career potential to undertake a full-time MBA course only, at major international business schools. Successful candidates will receive £50,000 to be used towards an eligible, full-time MBA Course. Applicants who have the right to live and work in the UK, with a first degree in engineering, allied technology, or science discipline, and are normally domiciled in the UK are eligible to apply. Up to 10 awards are made each year. Applications can be submitted at any time. / Apply by April 10, 2025

 

  • Scientific Fellowships for Master, PhD, and Medical Students: Bayer Foundation offers scientific fellowships for outstanding master’s, PhD, and medical students to pursue international research projects, internships, and more, providing additional funding for international placements to enhance their study programs. Applicants can apply for Fellowship in Drug Discovery Sciences, Fellowship for Agricultural Science, and Fellowship for Medical Sciences. Applicants are eligible for up to 10.000 € funding and can undertake fellowships for up to six months. People studying in Germany must undertake placements in a second country and those studying outside Germany must undertake their fellowships at a German research institution. / Apply by April 11, 2025

 

  • Kurt Hansen Fellowship for STEM Education: This fellowship is designed for teachers who will shape the perspectives of future generations and provide funding for teachers. This fellowship is for trainee teachers or students of pedagogy (postgraduate) with a focus on STEM subjects; newly qualified teachers (< 3 years) with a primary focus on STEM subjects, Grundschule or Förderschule teachers seeking to enhance their capacity and knowledge regarding STEM education. Applicants are eligible for up to 10,000€ in funding and can undertake fellowships for up to twelve months. The fellowship can be used for internships, research projects in STEM education, training, summer schools, research courses, etc. related to STEM education in Germany or abroad. / Apply by April 11, 2025

 

  • Hermann Strenger Fellowship for Apprentices and Young Professionals: This fellowship is for apprentices, dual students, or early career professionals without a university degree and less than five years of employment. Applicants must pursue their current apprenticeship or profession in a German-speaking country (Germany, Austria, or Switzerland). They particularly encourage applications from parents with children and people with German as a second language. Applicants are eligible for up to 10,000€ in funding and can undertake fellowships for up to twelve months. The fellowship can be used for internships, research projects, and personal development (including language courses), as well as to support parents undertaking further training in Germany and abroad. / Apply by April 11, 2025
