- Aquinas Scholar Award: Aquinas Institute of Theology is committed to educating the next generation of theologically well-formed ministers to serve the US Church in fulfillment of their mission to “educate men and women to preach, to teach, to minister, and to lead.” Students applying to one of Aquinas Institute of Theology’s three core degree programs will be considered for three merit-based scholarship awards offered to potential full-time lay students. - Cohen-Tucker Dissertation Research Fellowship: The Stephen F. Cohen–Robert C. Tucker Dissertation Research Fellowship (CTDRF) Program for Russian Historical Studies supports the next generation of US scholars to conduct their doctoral dissertation research in Russia. The program will provide up to six annual fellowships, with a maximum stipend of $28,000, for doctoral students at US universities, who are citizens or permanent residents of the US, to conduct dissertation research in Russia. - Atlantic Fellows for Racial Equity: The fellowship supports leaders who have a track record of improving the quality of Black life in their local or regional contexts. Over the 12-month Fellowship, all Fellows participate in a series of virtual convenings, a two-week, in-person residency in Johannesburg, South Africa; and an in-person immersion in Oxford, United Kingdom. - Emory University MPH Fellowship: The Center of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health offers three fellowships each year to students from historically disadvantaged backgrounds interested in completing the Maternal and Child Health Certificate. During their 9-month tenure in Tallahassee, Fellows receive advanced on-the-job training as well as an invaluable front-line view of the inner workings of government. - Josephine De Karman Fellowship: The purpose of the Josephine De Karman Fellowship program is to recognize and assist students whose scholastic achievements reflect Professor Von Karman’s high standards. DeKarman fellowships are open to PhD students in any discipline, including international students, who are currently enrolled in a California-based partner university (see website for list). Approximately six dissertation fellowships of $25,000 for doctoral students will be awarded for the regular academic year. - American Sociological Association Minority Fellowship: The ASA Minority Fellowship Program (MFP) is designed for underrepresented minority students enrolled in a program that grants a PhD in sociology and is advanced in their program by the time of application. ASA provides a stipend of $20,000 for each annual award and works with departments to try to arrange for the payment of tuition for the academic year. - Native American Journalism Fellowship: The Native American Journalists Association (NAJA) offers the annual Native American Journalism Fellowship (NAJF), which is open to current Indigenous, American Indian, Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian, First Nations, and Métis college students, undergraduate and graduates, pursuing media degrees. NAJF is an opportunity for students to deepen and broaden their reporting and multimedia skills while learning from tribal journalists and news industry professionals from across the country. - Privacy and Cybersecurity Fellowship Program: Sheppard Mullin’s Privacy and Cybersecurity Fellowship Program provides recent law school graduates who are interested in a career in privacy and cybersecurity law or those lawyers interested in shifting career paths with hands-on, client-facing experience in compliance and privacy and cybersecurity litigation and breach response. - NIF/Shatil Social Justice Fellowship: The NIF/Shatil Social Justice Fellowship is a 10-month immersive experience in Israel, where fellows work on cutting-edge social justice issues alongside veteran activists. Fellows spend four days per week working on the front lines of social change in Israel at a premiere Israeli social change organization. - CAPAL Internship Program: The Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership’s Summer Internship Programs provides two opportunities for current undergraduate and graduate students to work on issues relevant to Asian Pacific Americans. Public Service Interns work in the Washington, DC area on policy or scientific research, project coordination and management, business, law, communications, and more. Public Service Field Interns work within public sector positions throughout the U.S. and conduct field research, perform site visits to local communities, and present their findings to various partners. - Goodwin Procter 1L Diversity Fellowship: The Goodwin 1L Diversity Fellowships offer awards of $7,500 to diverse students who work in public interest positions the summer after their first year of law school. - KPCB Fellows Program: The Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers Fellows Program is a 3-month work-based program that pairs top U.S. students interested in design, engineering, and product management with innovative startup companies in Silicon Valley. Throughout the summer, Fellows are employed at our portfolio companies, where they can develop their technical skills and be mentored by an engineering executive within the company. - Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) Fellowship: The APAICS Congressional Fellowship offers an opportunity to qualified candidates of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander descent to serve the nation and deepen their understanding of public policy through participation in the legislative process. Fellows are placed with a congressional office or committee for 12 months and are assigned work equivalent to that of a congressional legislative aide. - Ernest F. Hollings Scholarship: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Ernest F. - Killam Fellowships Program: The Killam Fellowships Program provides an opportunity for undergraduate students from universities in Canada and the United States to spend either one semester or a full academic year as an exchange student in another country. - ORNL Distinguished Staff Fellowship Program: The ORNL Distinguished Staff Fellowships are 3-year appointments awarded to outstanding early-career scientists and engineers with demonstrated success within their academic, professional, and technical areas, who have high potential to be future science leaders. - OPA Executive Fellowship in Leadership and Association Management: The Ohio Pharmacists Association Executive Fellowship in Leadership and Association Management prepares individuals for leadership positions in a variety of settings in the profession of pharmacy and healthcare. The fellowship is a postgraduate training program created to support the development of individuals interested in association management through training and experience in leadership, advocacy, professional affairs, and problem-solving. - Knight-Bagehot Fellowship in Economics and Business Journalism: The Knight-Bagehot Fellowship in Economics and Business Journalism offers mid-career journalists the opportunity to study business, economics, and finance, as well as gain a strong understanding of the business of journalism itself. In this yearlong, full-time program, fellows choose from one of three academic tracks. - Knight-Wallace Fellowship: The Knight-Wallace Fellowships offer accomplished journalists from all facets of the profession an academic year of study and collaborative learning at the University of Michigan. Reporters, editors, data experts, designers, visual and audio journalists, and entrepreneurs from the U.S. and abroad expand their knowledge, develop new ideas, pilot special programs, and address challenges facing the journalism industry. All fellows pursue an in-depth project or research plan. International travel is typically a component of the Knight-Wallace experience. All fellows receive a $85,000 living stipend plus $5,000 for relocation expenses, and health insurance. The international application deadline is Dec. 1. - Klingenstein Summer Institute for Early Career Teachers: The Klingenstein Summer Institute gathers 75 teachers from around the world for an exploration of teaching styles, educational philosophies, educational issues, and personal development. Meeting for two weeks in late June, this intensive program offered in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, is especially designed to make teachers more effective leaders in the classroom and throughout the school. The Klingenstein Summer Institute offers a full fellowship, including tuition for four graduate credits, as well as room and board. - Louisville Institute Dissertation Fellowship: The Dissertation Fellowship program is designed to support the final year Ph.D. or Th.D. dissertation writing for students engaged in research about North American Christianity, especially projects with the potential to strengthen the religious life of North American Christians and their institutions, including seminaries, while simultaneously advancing American religious and theological scholarship. Applicants must be candidates for the Ph.D. or Th.D. degree in an accredited graduate school in the U.S. or Canada. - International Climate Protection Fellowship: The fellowship allows young climate experts from developing countries to spend a year in Germany working on a research-based project of their own choice in the field of climate protection and climate-related resource conservation. Fellows are free to choose their hosts. Apply if you come from a non-European transition or developing country and are active in any of the following areas: scientific, engineering-based, legal, economic, health-related, or social aspects of climate change. - Allen Ginsberg, Anne Waldman, and Anselm Hollo Graduate Fellowships: The fellowships are awarded annually to three incoming in-resident Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Creative Writing and Poetics students at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. Allen Ginsberg, Anne Waldman, and Anselm Hollo fellowship recipients will receive full funding (tuition and fees), an additional $5,000 scholarship, and a $4,500 stipend. - Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Neuroscience (SURF-N): The Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Neuroscience (SURF-N) provides summer stipends to undergraduate students interested in cutting-edge research in several neuroscience disciplines. Generally, 10-15 students are invited annually to work with their identified mentors and other laboratories to learn basic techniques for conducting independent research projects. - Higher Education Media Fellowship: The Higher Education Media Fellowship supports working U.S. journalists interested in learning more about and covering issues related to post-secondary career and technical education (CTE). Selected Fellows are awarded $10,000 —$5,000 as a stipend and $5,000 towards a postsecondary CTE reporting project. The six-month, non-residential program begins with an expense-paid CTE symposium where Fellows are paired with a mentor. - Hodson Trust-John Carter Brown Library Fellowship: The Hodson-Brown Library Fellowship supports work by academics, independent scholars and writers working on significant projects relating to the literature, history, culture, or art of the Americas before 1830. Candidates with a U.S. history topic are strongly encouraged to concentrate on the period prior to 1801. The fellowship is also open to filmmakers, novelists, creative and performing artists, and others working on projects that draw on this period of history. The fellowship award supports two months of research and two months of writing. - Teach For India: The Teach For India Fellowship program is a 2 year full-time paid commitment in which we place the most promising graduates and professionals as full-time teachers in under-resourced and low-income schools. - Teach For America Teacher Corps Program: Teach For America Teacher Corps is a national teacher recruitment program that aims to eliminate educational inequity by enlisting recent college graduates and professionals to teach for two or more years in low-income communities throughout the United States. Corps members come from all academic majors and career backgrounds. Corps members attend an intensive 5-week summer institute to prepare for their commitment and then are placed in schools in urban and rural areas. TFA teachers are full-fledged faculty members at their schools, receiving the normal school district salary and benefits. Participants will get the opportunity to experience an exciting academic program at a highly regarded UK University and explore the culture, heritage, and history of the UK. - Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) at Mayo Clinic: Each year, approximately 130 undergraduate students from around the U.S. come to Mayo Clinic’s campus in Rochester, MN, to work beside both young and established scientists on a broad range of biomedical research questions. A limited number of fellowships are also available at the Mayo Clinic campuses in Jacksonville, FL, and Scottsdale, AZ. - New America Fellows: New America’s Fellows Program invests in thinkers—academics, journalists, independent scholars, and public policy analysts—who offer fresh and often unconventional perspectives on the major challenges facing our society. Fellows advance big ideas through research, reporting, analysis, and/or storytelling. Fellows benefit from a financial stipend, engagement with each other and with New America’s various policy programs, and the expanded audience and exposure from New America and its media partners. - Howard Mayer Brown Fellowship: The Howard Mayer Brown Fellowship intends to increase the presence of minority scholars and teachers in musicology, the fellowship supports one year of graduate work for a student at a U.S. or Canadian university who is a member of a historically underrepresented group, including, in the U.S., African Americans, Native Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Asian Americans, and, in Canada, aboriginal peoples and visible minorities (as defined by Canadian legislation). The fellowship carries a twelve-month stipend, currently set at $24,000.
