AIP State Department Science Fellowship Program

American Institute of Physics (AIP)

This Fellowship is intended to enhance the science & technology capacity of the U.S. Department of State by enabling at least one scientist annually to work at the Department’s Washington, DC headquarters for a one-year term. Fellowships are for one year, usually running September through August, and include a stipend of $82,400. Scientists at all career stages, including mid- and late-career professionals, are encouraged to apply. If you are a U.S. citizen and have a Ph.D. or equivalent research background in physics or a closely related field you may be eligible to apply.
