Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL)

The APHL-CDC Bioinformatics Fellowship Program trains and prepares bioinformaticians to apply their expertise within public health and design tools to aid existing public health personnel in the use of bioinformatics. Fellows apply their skills to a range of important and emerging public health problems while gaining experience in areas including metagenomics, human genetics, algorithm/software development, microbial genomics, and more. Fellowships are full-time, paid, and run one to two years.
