APSA Congressional Fellowship Program for Communications Scholars and Journalists

This fellowship gives early to mid-career scholars and journalists an opportunity to learn about Congress and the legislative process. Ideal candidates should have an analytical interest in politics, communications, and public policy, and show promise of making a significant contribution to the public’s understanding of the political process. Scholars must have a terminal degree. Broadcast and print journalists must have a bachelor’s and 2-10 years full-time work experience. The fellowship is for 9.5 months. Fellows receive a stipend of $60,000 and a travel allowance.
