Baylor University, based in Waco, Texas offers a fully funded Master’s in Education. The Department of Curriculum & Instruction offers a Master of Arts (MA) in Education which is a residential, 33-semester-hour program. The program is designed to develop a scholarly understanding of educational thought and practice. Assistantship and scholarship opportunities make up the cost of Baylor’s MA program. Graduate Assistant positions are competitive and require an additional review process beyond the process for admission. There are limited Graduate Assistant positions available to support full-time MA students. In addition to stipends, GAs receive various amounts of tuition remission.
