To nurture future innovators and thought leaders in solar energy, the Bhaskara Advanced Solar Energy (BASE) Fellowship Program has been developed to foster contacts between students and scientists from India and the United States. The fellowship seeks to solve problems in climate change while working toward clean and efficient energy and environmental protection. Applicants must be Indian citizens with a PhD in science, engineering or technology and under the age of 40 at the time of application. Fellowships are for 3 to 12 months, and include a monthly stipend and return airfare from the U.S.
