Bowling Green State University offers a fully funded master’s in Applied Statistics. The M.S. in Applied Statistics degree is offered jointly by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the Department of Applied Statistics and Operations Research. The intent of the program is to prepare the student for direct entry into a career as a statistician in business, industry, or government. Assistantships for Master’s students are currently $12,500 for the nine-month academic year. Summer support ranging from $1,000-$2,000 is also available. In most circumstances, a tuition scholarship is given to students receiving a stipend from the department. About two-thirds of our full-time graduate students are fully funded.
