Brown University Fully Funded PhD in Anthropology

Brown University, based in Providence, Rhode Island offers a fully funded PhD in Anthropology. The graduate program in Brown’s anthropology department encourages a diversity of doctoral research agendas in socio-cultural anthropology, anthropological archaeology, and linguistic anthropology. The department offers three specialized Ph.D. Tracks: Anthropology and Population, Graduate Program in Development, and Medical Anthropology. All students admitted to Brown’s PhD program in anthropology are offered a generous, 5-year funding package that covers tuition and provides an annual stipend. Funding for a sixth year is also available through the Graduate School.
