English Program in Korea (EPIK)

English Program in Korea

The English Program in Korea (EPIK) is a teaching program sponsored by the South Korean government that seeks to improve English education in public schools across the country by bringing in native English-speaking teachers to work as language instructors. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field and be citizens of a country where English is the primary language. They also need to have a TEFL certification or teaching experience. The program offers a competitive salary, benefits such as housing and airfare reimbursement, as well as opportunities to immerse oneself in Korean culture and gain valuable teaching experience. The EPIK application is similar to rolling admission in Fall and Spring.
