Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL)

The APHL-CDC Environmental Health Laboratory Fellowship trains and prepares scientists for careers in public health laboratories and supports public health initiatives related to human chemical exposures through targeted biomonitoring or environmental health surveillance. The program provides high-quality training for the fellow while contributing to the public health laboratory workforce. Fellows apply their skills to a range of important and emerging public health problems while gaining experience in areas such as environmental health, exposure reduction, surveillance, and intervention.
