The Ford Fellowship seeks to increase the diversity of the nation’s college and university faculties by increasing their ethnic and racial diversity. This fellowship provides one year of support for individuals engaged in postdoctoral study after the attainment of the Ph.D. or Sc.D. degree. The awards will be made to individuals who have demonstrated superior academic achievement, are committed to a career in teaching and research at the college or university level, and are prepared to use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of all students. The fellowship pays a stipend of $45,000.
