The Gary Metz Research Fellowship awards up to $2,500 to an individual engaged in researching and writing about photographic theory relating to the imagery and its impact on individuals and societies; and/or our relationship to images and the reasons that drive their creation. Advanced scholars and researchers from any discipline are encouraged to apply. Selection is based on the quality of the proposed research and its relationship to the Center’s collections. The Center for Creative Photography is recognized as one of the world’s finest academic art museums and study centers for the history of photography.
