Harvard University offers a fully funded PhD program in Computer Science. PhD students start their degree program studying a variety of sub-areas in computer science, such as systems, networking, databases, algorithms, complexity, hardware, human-computer interaction, graphics, or programming languages. After completing their foundational studies, students conduct independent research and are encouraged to collaborate with other fields and departments at the university. All students admitted to the PhD program receive full financial support. This includes tuition, fees, and a cost-of living stipend.
