Hertog offers residential summer programs that allow their fellows to study in an intensive seminar setting with outstanding faculty and engaged peers. This series of one- to three-week summer seminars in Washington, DC allows students to create their own individualized course of study. Younger students are encouraged to apply for these seminars, as are upperclassmen who have other obligations during the summer. Topics include Political Studies and War Studies, as well as others that change annually and can be found on their website. Fellows receive housing and some meals, plus a stipend. Undergraduates, gap-year students, young professionals, and graduate students are all eligible to apply.
