The University of Virginia is offering an academic year-long fellowship for doctoral scholars who have completed all the requirements for their PhD except their dissertation by the summer before beginning the fellowship. The program is associated with The Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture in the following Colloquies/ areas of study: Culture and Democracy, Culture and Formation, Religion and Late Modernity, Picturing the Human, Knowledge, Technology & Culture, and Culture, Capitalism & Global Change. The fellowship has an annual stipend of $25, 000 and office space.
