AWWI is offering a Fellowship for an outstanding individual to learn first-hand about issues related to wind energy and wildlife interactions. The Fellow will work closely with members of the AWWI team to produce a research report on a topic that advances the goals set out in AWWI’s National Wind Wildlife Research Plan. Applicants will have recently earned a graduate degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in renewable energy, biology, environmental science, or a related field. The stipend is $45,000 with additional funds available for professional development opportunities. The Fellow may work remotely over the 9-12 month appointment of the fellowship.
