Michigan State University based in East Lansing, MI offers a fully funded PhD in Social Work. The PhD program in Social Work is designed to prepare social workers for leadership positions. It is also interdisciplinary in nature, requiring course work in both social work and a particular social science, or across disciplines while focusing on a selected area of study. The School is pleased to offer five years of guaranteed, graduate assistantship funding to all qualified incoming students. All student funding is contingent upon the student remaining in good academic standing.
