The College of Design at North Carolina State University based in Raleigh, NC offers a fully funded PhD in Design. The program includes more than forty students pursuing research focusing on the questions that transcend and unite the design disciplines. Interdisciplinary faculty groups advise students in coursework and research broadly related to seven research interest areas. The PhD program provides generous support for the students, which includes full tuition, stipend, and health insurance.
