Notre Dame University based in Notre Dame, Indiana offers a fully funded PhD in Chemistry. The Department offers two distinct Ph.Ds. – one in Chemistry and one in Biochemistry. These programs encompass all areas of modern chemical research, including organic, physical, inorganic, and analytical chemistry, as well as biochemistry, molecular biology, and biophysics. For the 2020-2021 academic year, the 12-month stipend for entering students is $31,057. A full-tuition scholarship of $57,450 is provided to all graduate students, in addition to a full health care subsidy. Several universities and departmental fellowships that provide higher stipends are also available on a competitive basis.
