Fellows are government officials, judges, officials from international organizations, and lawyers in private practice who wish to take a semester or academic year away from their posts to engage in serious scholarship. The fellowship is for 1 academic year (or semester) working with the NYU Law School and includes a stipend of $30,000 to $45,000/year.
