Purdue University based in West Lafayette, Indiana offers a fully funded PhD in Chemistry. Programs leading to the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees are offered in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, chemical education, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, and physical chemistry. Research in the department is conducted in such interdisciplinary areas. Incoming Ph.D. students receive financial support for a period up to 5 years from the date of admission. In exchange for this support, students participate as teaching assistants (TAs) at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Fellowships and faculty awards are also available.
