Social Capital Inc. (SCI) cultivates connections, unites diverse communities, and develops leaders. Their flagship initiative, SCI AmeriCorps, builds capacity for local youth-serving nonprofits in Greater Boston. It focuses on outreach, volunteer coordination, and youth leadership. Members receive a stipend, health insurance, Segal education award, and access to training in volunteer management, youth mentorship, community outreach, social capital building, DEI, allyship, and project management. They can earn college credits through Merrimack College and participate in the capstone Social Capital Youth Project. This full-time commitment runs from September to June, totaling 40 hours per week.
