The Surdna Reporting Fellowship invites experienced journalists for a one-year, full-time reporting job. This fellowship seeks to help build diversity in the journalism industry and, specifically, to expose reporters from communities of color to solutions reporting. Applicants must be from a community underrepresented by conventional media and interested in using that experience to help YES! Media achieve greater depth in their coverage. Fellows will write both short and substantial pieces and are encouraged to express different angles. A salary of $42,000 is provided, among other benefits, including insurance and paid vacation time.
