TAPIF collaborates with France Education International to send over 1,300 young Americans aged 20-35 overseas every year. The assistant de langue en France program aims to offer their linguistic and cultural knowledge in elementary, middle, and high schools across mainland France and five overseas regions. TAPIF encourages applicants from diverse academic backgrounds and accepts individuals who can demonstrate a B1 level of French on the CEFR global scale and have completed at least 3 years of college credits. Upon completing their teaching experience in France, TAPIF alumni pursue various career paths, both in the United States and abroad. TAPIF also provides scholarships in partnership with Fulbright France and 11 prestigious U.S. Universities. Additionally, candidates may apply for TAPIF to Teacher and receive a graduate certificate in foreign language education from the Université de Nanterre.
