The University of Arizona, based in Tucson, AZ offers a fully funded master’s in Classics. Each student chooses an emphasis that determines the series of courses and exams they will pursue. Generous funding is offered to eligible students admitted to the Classics M.A. program. Most students receive the Graduate Assistant–Teaching (GAT) placements and all GATs receive full tuition waivers, and health insurance plans with the premium fully covered. Stipends range from $8,626 to $18,177 per academic year, depending on hours worked and year in the program.
