The University of Arkansas, based in Fayetteville, AR, offers a four-year fully funded Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, with degree tracks in Fiction, Poetry, and Literary Translation. Nearly all of our accepted students receive Teaching Assistantships, which currently include an annual stipend of $13,500 and a waiver of all tuition costs. Students also compete each year for several Walton Fellowships and several James T. Whitehead and Lily Peter Fellowships. Translation students working in Middle-Eastern languages such as Arabic or Hebrew are eligible for fellowships of $12,400 per year.
