The University at Buffalo in New York State offers a fully funded PhD program in Pharmacology. The majority of students enter the department through the interdisciplinary PhD Program in Biomedical Sciences for the first year. The PhD Program in Pharmacology requires a minimum of 72 hours of coursework, including four to five years of laboratory research. Students are fully funded through the entire course of their studies. PhD candidates receive a full-tuition scholarship, a stipend of $31,000, and medical/dental insurance.
