The University of California-Los Angeles based in Los Angeles, CA offers a fully funded PhD in Chemistry. The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry offers two graduate PhD programs: Chemistry Graduate Program; and Biochemistry, Molecular and Structural Biology Graduate Program (BMSB). A Student can choose to focus on one of the many interdisciplinary research areas. The Department funds tuition, student fees, health insurance, and an annual stipend for living expenses for students enrolled in the program. As a part of the doctoral program, graduate students are required to serve as a Teaching Assistant for a minimum of three academic quarters.
