The University of Chicago, based in Chicago, Illinois offers a fully funded PhD in Philosophy. The PhD Program in Philosophy offers an intensive course of study in preparation for a career as a scholar and teacher of philosophy. The program in particular consists of four major components. Ph.D. students who matriculate in the summer of 2020 and after will be guaranteed to have funding support from the University of Chicago, external sources, or a combination of the two for the duration of their program to include full tuition coverage, and an annual stipend, and health insurance.
