The University of Idaho, based in Moscow, ID offers a two-year fully funded master’s in English. Take courses in language, literature, composition, rhetoric, and more to prepare for teaching college-level English or pursuing a doctorate. This program offers a thesis and non-thesis option. The graduate students are offered teaching assistantships, all of which are fully funded. TA’s receive in-state and out-of-state waivers, teach a 2-1 course load, and receive substantial instructional support from our Director of First-Year Composition and staff. The English Department offers three major scholarships for graduate students. International students apply early.
