The University of Kansas, based in Lawrence, KS offers a fully funded master’s in Classics. The Department of Classics offers advanced coursework in the ancient civilizations of Greece and Rome. Students are expected to study the classical languages (Greek and Latin), literature, and the art and archaeological remains of the Greek and Roman worlds. The Classics Department offers several Graduate Teaching Assistantships. Graduate Teaching Assistants pay no tuition and receive health benefits in addition to a stipend.
