The University of Michigan, based in Ann Arbor, MI offers a fully funded PhD in Public Health. The School of Public Health offers PhD degrees in all of its six departments. The Departments are Biostatistics, Health Management and Policy, Nutritional Sciences, Health Behavior and Health Education, Environmental Health Sciences, and Epidemiology. Many doctoral students at Michigan Public Health are fully funded. All students admitted to one of our doctoral programs are considered for financial support. There are four types of financial support offered to students: graduate student instructor (GSI) positions, graduate student research assistant (GSRA) positions, training grants, and fellowships.
