The University of Minnesota, based in Minneapolis, MN offers a fully funded PhD in Anthropology. The PhD program focuses on three subfields: archaeology, biological anthropology, and sociocultural anthropology and prepares students for a position as a college or university-level researcher and/or teacher, or for an advanced non-academic research position. All students admitted to the PhD program are offered a five-year funding package, contingent on satisfactory progress toward the degree.
