The University of Minnesota offers fully funded PhD programs in Pharmacology. The on-site, full-time degree programs include lab rotations to build practical experience in several fields within pharmacology including: cancer and infectious disease, neuropharmacology and neurodegeneration, cell signaling and drug addiction and toxicology. After selecting a research advisor, students will spend the bulk of their graduate training in their advisor’s laboratory. All students in the PhD program hold research assistantships that include payment of tuition and fees, a stipend and health insurance.
