The University of Southern California, based in Los Angeles, CA offers a fully funded PhD in Public Policy and Management. The PhD program prepares students to shape the direction of public affairs research. The curriculum combines interdisciplinary training in public policy and management; rigorous methodological training; and specialization in a policy area or field such as economics, sociology, political science, or organizational theory. All Ph.D. students are supported for four years through a combination of fellowships and graduate assistantships that provide year-round full tuition, a competitive stipend, and health and dental insurance.
