Wake Forest University, based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina offers a fully funded master’s in Mathematics and Statistics. The degree requirements are flexible and permit both thesis and non-thesis programs of study, with a focus on either mathematics (pure or applied) or statistics. Almost all of the participants in our program receive substantial aid: a teaching assistantship, or a full or partial scholarship. About 75% of our master’s students receive financial support in the form of a teaching assistantship. TAs do not need to pay tuition and are paid a monthly stipend of $1,617.45 (for 2022-2023) in return for 15 hours per week of work supporting the teaching efforts of our faculty.
