Western University

Western University based in Canada offers a fully funded master’s in Anthropology. The department has three recognized streams of research at the master’s level. Domestic MA students receive funding for 2 years (6 terms) of their program, through a combination of WGRS and GTA/GSA, and are also eligible for external awards. In 2021-22, their full-time domestic MA students received a funding package of at least $19,666. Also, a small number of funded international students are accepted into the MA programs.
