Bord Bia Marketing Fellowship (MSc International Marketing Practice)

This intensive 12-month action learning program gives successful candidates the opportunity to earn a Master’s degree while gaining hands-on experience working with some of Ireland’s leading food companies. The fellowship includes in-market placement with Bord Bia clients from early August to June in locations that may include Ireland, among other international locations. Applications are welcome from all graduates with a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience. 

Fulbright US Student Awards for Study/Research

A U.S. Student Fulbright Grant allows for individually designed study/research projects that will take place during one academic year (9-12 months) in a country outside the U.S. Fulbright Student Awards are available for US students and recent graduates to research or study in Ireland over the course of a year.

Fulbright US Scholar Awards for Faculty and Professionals

The Fulbright Scholar Program offers teaching, research or combination teaching/research awards across the globe. Grants are available for US professionals to undertake a research project or a lectureship at Universities in Ireland for a period of 2-12 months.

Fulbright US Specialist Program

The Fulbright Specialist Program is a unique opportunity for U.S. academics and established professionals to engage in two- to six-week, project-based exchanges at host institutions in over 150 countries. George Mitchell Scholarship

Mitchell Scholars are selected annually for a year of postgraduate study in any discipline offered by institutions of higher learning in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Applicants are judged on three criteria: scholarship, leadership, and a sustained commitment to community and public service. The Mitchell Scholars Program provides tuition, accommodations, a living expenses stipend, and an international travel stipend. An applicant who is a full-time or part-time undergraduate student at the time of application must submit an institutional endorsement. 

Google News Lab Fellowship

The Google News Lab Fellowship offers students interested in journalism and technology the opportunity to spend the summer working at relevant organizations across the world to gain valuable experience and make lifelong contacts and friends. Ulster University Fully Funded PhD in Creative Writing

Ulster University in Northern Ireland offers a fully funded PhD in creative writing. Proposals are welcome that fall within the parameters of Early Modern, Eighteenth Century, and Victorian Literature and Culture, through to Modern, Postmodern, Contemporary, and Creative Writing, as well as Critical Theory. 

Wellcome Trust Career Development Awards

This award provides funding for mid-career researchers from any discipline who have the potential to be international research leaders. Fellows will develop their research capabilities, drive innovative programs, and deliver significant shifts in understanding that could improve human life, health, and well-being. The host organization may be based in the Republic of Ireland, among other international destinations. 

Wellcome Trust Discovery Awards

This award provides funding for established researchers and teams from any discipline who want to pursue bold and creative research ideas to deliver significant shifts in understanding that could improve human life, health, and well-being. The research can be in a single discipline or multidisciplinary. The host organization of the lead applicant should be based in the Republic of Ireland, among other international destinations. 

Wellcome Trust Early-Career Awards

This award provides funding for early-career researchers from any discipline who are ready to develop their research identity. Innovative projects will deliver shifts in understanding that could improve human life, health, and well-being. By the end of the award, Fellows will be prepared to lead their own independent research programs. The host organization should be based in the Republic of Ireland, among other international destinations.
