Filmmaking Fellowship Is Changing the Game

The Game Changers Project is a fellowship that provides emerging black filmmakers with the opportunity to produce 4-minute microdocumentaries about black men and other underrepresented groups in America who are “changing the game” in areas such as education, justice, wellness, family and entrepreneurship. The Game Changer Fellowship is a national media fellowship program for experienced and emerging African-American and black filmmakers, ages 18-35, who reside or grew up in one of the eight Game Changers cities. Game Changer Filmmaker Fellows must have solid production experience that includes writing, editing, and producing short video using professional HD cameras.  The fellowship lasts for three months and includes a paid stipend, orientation and training, cameras, assignments to organizations and production subjects.
