The Consortium MBA Fellowships

The Consortium fosters a network of the country’s best students, leading Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs and corporate partners. Each year, The Consortium awards merit-based, full-tuition fellowships to top MBA candidates who have a proven record of promoting inclusion in school, in their jobs, or their personal lives. It is renewable for the second year, given that you complete the first year in good academic standing. To be eligible for a Consortium membership and fellowship, you must be a U.S. citizen/permanent resident, have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution, and demonstrate commitment to The Consortium’s mission. Individuals of any race or ethnicity may apply.

Forté Fellows Program

The Forté Foundation offers fellowships to women who are pursuing a full-time, part-time, or executive MBA education at participating business schools. If you would like to be considered for a fellowship, you must submit an MBA application to a participating school. Each school determines where the Forté awards will be given. All schools grant awards for full-time students, but part-time and executive awards are only available at select schools.

Samvid Scholars Program

The Samvid Scholars Program is a scholarship for graduate students committed to effecting positive change in society. Samvid Scholars will empower future leaders and changemakers by providing financial support for graduate study and leadership development. Scholars receive up to $50K for tuition and fees each year for two years of study in an eligible graduate program. Eligible candidates will pursue a full-time graduate program of 2 years or longer at a university in the United States. Applicants must be a first-year graduate student in one of the following programs: MD, MBA, JD, MPP/MPA, MPH, and MS/MA in social sciences or STEM. The minimum undergraduate GPA requirement is at least 3.5.

Knight-Hennessy Scholars Fellowship

Stanford University is offering up to one hundred, fully-funded graduate degree programs including the DMA, JD, MA, MBA, MD, MFA, MS, and PhD degrees as well as joint- and dual degrees. Scholars will receive a living and academic stipend to live within the Stanford graduate community at the Denning House, which is dedicated to interaction with each other and distinguished visitors. Eligible applicants can be from any country while holding at least the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree. After the application materials have been obtained, there will be a candidate immersion weekend for 200 applicants to determine the accepted fellows.

Orbis Investment Management MBA Fellowship

Orbis seeks soon-to-be first-year MBA students, from any background, who are as passionate about investing. The award is for $15,000 cash and is to be used toward tuition and/or course-related expenses. There are no demographic criteria or previous work experience requirements, all incoming MBA students who have enrolled in an accredited MBA program are invited to apply.

Fertitta Veterans MBA Program at NYU

The Fertitta Veterans MBA Program for students in the two-year Full-time MBA is an innovative program specifically designed for U.S. military veterans and active duty students to support their transition to business school. This is a cohort-based summer program that includes significant scholarship support, a summer session with early access to coursework and immersive learning at regular corporate visits, and a special leadership curriculum woven into the MBA experience. The Fertitta Veterans MBA Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship that reduces tuition to a flat rate of $31,600 per academic year. The Fertitta Program now also includes an expanded Yellow Ribbon Program and the Fertitta Veterans Living Stipend.

Reaching Out LGBTQ MBA (ROMBA) Fellowship

Reaching Out is offering an LGBTQ MBA (ROMBA) Fellowship that includes a minimum of $10,000 scholarship per academic year or $20,000 total scholarship and exclusive mentorship and leadership development for fellows. Many business schools are participating in this scholarship and are responsible for identifying and selecting the Reaching Out LGBTQ Fellows. Eligible applicants must indicate interest in the fellowship in their business school application through a demonstration of LGBTQ leadership roles on their resume, and self-identify as LGBTQ. Application deadlines are the same as the MBA program at the school of interest.

Roy H. Park Leadership Fellows Program

The Roy H. Park Leadership Fellows Program at Cornell University is a two-year full-tuition fellowship award for up to 25 Cornell Johnson students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership potential. In addition to their MBA curriculum, Park Fellows participate in a robust leadership development program. Features include a cohort of 25 learning partners for developing leadership skills; a two-year developmental sequence based on the development of personal, interpersonal, team, and system mastery skills; a constant cycle of experiential learning and reflection; a track record of leadership performance that is made through contributions to the school and surrounding community. Must be a US citizen to apply.

Admit Access Fellowship

The Access Fellowship provides MBA preparatory support to underrepresented and under-resourced MBA applicants. The Fellowship provides underrepresented minorities and women with a free, comprehensive curriculum including individualized test prep, admissions, and career resources valued at over $5,000, including free GMAT/GRE prep with Magoosh, free GMAT test vouchers, 1:1 admissions consulting, and other free tools and fee waivers. In addition to the Fellowship community that holds Fellows accountable and encouraged through the process, program staff and MBA students and alumni serve as mentors to help Fellows through the process. Any citizenship can apply, but U.S. residency is required to be eligible for the fellowship.
