New Communications Fellowship for Minority Students

Jan 11, 2012

The Fleishman-Hillard International Communications, a leading global strategic communications firm, is launching a new fellowship program to recruit highly qualified minority college seniors and graduate students for a high-level career entry program. The Alfred Fleishman Diversity Fellowships, named for one of the company’s founders, will offer senior mentoring, professional development and employment opportunities.

The six- to 12-month paid fellowships may take place at any of the Fleishman-Hillard offices in Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, New York, St. Louis, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.  Fellows will rotate among account teams, gaining practical experience in the field of integrated communications from some of the industry’s best counselors.

“These are not typical internships,” said Dave Senay, Fleishman-Hillard president and CEO. “Fleishman fellows will be mentored closely by senior vice presidents or higher and exposed to every aspect of agency life. Our intent is to groom the fellows to be agency-ready upon completion of the program.” Read more.
