Mid Career

Radcliffe Fellows are award-winning artists, academics, and professionals who convene at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University for a full year to focus on individual projects and research while benefiting from a multidisciplinary community in the University setting. Stipends are funded up to $78,000 for one year with additional funds for project expenses. Fellows receive office or studio space and access to libraries and other resources of Harvard University during the fellowship year, September through May. Duke University, based in Durham, North Carolina offers the Master of International Development Policy (MIDP) Program. The MIDP program is a self-designed, interdisciplinary degree that equips mid-career professionals from around the world with the analytical tools and technical expertise necessary to become global leaders in sustainable development efforts. The program is administered by the Duke Center for International Development (DCID), based in the Sanford School of Public Policy. The MIDP offers several competitive Fellowships to highly qualified applicants. Also, offer MIDP tuition scholarships based on merit and financial need.

Launched in 1967, the International Affairs Fellowship (IAF) is a distinguished program offered by the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) to assist mid-career scholars and professionals in advancing their analytic capabilities and broadening their foreign policy experience. CFR awards approximately ten fellowships annually to highly accomplished individuals with a capacity for independent work. The IAF Program is only open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents. The duration of the fellowship is 12 months and the program awards a stipend of $120,000.

Career Development Grants support the career progression of women by funding women preparing to advance change careers or re-enter the workforce. Primary consideration is given to women pursuing their first advanced degree or credentials in education, health and medicine, science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), and social sciences. Grants are available to support full-time or part-time coursework such as a second bachelor’s or first master’s degree, a certification program, or specialized training in these fields. The award ceiling for Career Development Grants for a degree program is $20,000 and for non-degree programs is $8,000.
