This fellowship is designed to address critical workforce shortages and retention challenges in the social impact sector, with a focus on leadership development, well-being, and creating lasting change. If you’re a mid-career professional with at least 5 years of full-time experience in a mission-driven organization, this opportunity is for you!
Program Benefits
Leadership Longevity unites mission-driven professionals for an intensive cohort-based experience integrating leadership and well-being. Led by New Sector experts, the program empowers participants with skill sets, mindsets, and connections to persevere as long-term leaders for transformative change. It includes:
- Building relationships with a diverse cohort of peers
- Promoting well-being by learning strategies for resilience and longevity
- Developing leadership competencies to increase effectiveness and impact
- Addressing complex challenges through short-term action and long-term change
Eligibility
The 2025-2026 National Leadership Longevity Fellowship will support leaders who:
- Are employed full-time at a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, government, social, or 5 environmental purpose for-profit entity
- Are mid-career, holding a mid-to-senior level position where they lead others and/or are responsible for administering a program or initiative
- Have a total of at least five years of full-time mission-driven work experience
- Reside in the United States
How to Apply

Phase 1: Submit personal information, eligibility screening, background details, and two short answer responses (500 words each).
Phase 2: If selected, participate in a 25-minute virtual conversation with a panel, responding to additional short-answer questions and asking your questions about the program.
