The American-Italian Cancer Foundation offers an International Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship. Applicants must have received an advanced degree—a PhD, DSc, or DVM— no more than three years before the due date of the application. Eligible applications for an AICF Fellowship include proposals for basic or translational cancer research, as well as clinical research. Fellowships are available for Italians working at institutions in the United States. Fellowships are awarded for one year and the stipends of $60,000 are meant to cover most living expenses of the awarded candidate.
