Carnegie Mellon University, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania offers a fully funded Master’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering. The program allows students to develop deep knowledge in a specialized concentration of one of their three focus areas while rounding out their education with challenging interdisciplinary coursework. All MS program applicants are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships that may cover anywhere from 20-100% of the overall tuition cost. A majority of their MS applicants are offered some amount of merit scholarship. Additionally, many of their MS students are offered paid appointments as teaching assistants and course graders.
